Style Pop Cafe

My new favorite coffee shop. I popped in for a quick coffee and meeting and loved the vibe. The Biscoff Latte was the best. The Sassy Girl eggroll was fresh and tasty.

Style Pop is such a gem in Walker’s Point! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. The barista, Di (“Princess Di”), is incredibly kind, sweet, and caring. She takes the time to listen, build rapport, and even share words of encouragement — you can tell she pours love and intention into every drink she makes. The cafe itself is beautiful and posh, with a cozy patio that’s perfect for relaxing. Their menu has unique drinks and flavors you won’t find anywhere else. I ordered an oat milk London Fog, and it was delicious — smooth, flavorful, and such a generous size for the price. If you’re looking for a Black-owned cafe in Milwaukee that offers great vibes, excellent drinks, and genuine hospitality, Style Pop is a must-visit!

Located at the busy corner of 5th and Mineral Streets, Style Pop Cafe has added a vibrant and new experience to this renewing urban neighborhood on Milwaukee's near Southside known as Walker's Point or the Fifth Ward. According to founder and great conversationalist, Roshá Brister, a native Milwaukeean and graduate of MPS and UWM, Style Pop offers its own brand of sustainable roasted coffees from Colombia and Brazil, as well as organic creamers that were awesome to try. The cafe has a capacity of 75 people who can sit comfortably in chairs suited for hours of reading and sipping, at tables for groups up to four, or in one of their private workspaces with very cool barn doors. They offer high speed internet, alot of big windows for natural lighting, and a patio if one chooses to sit outside. Daily hours start at 7AM. Style Pop Cafe's menu offers fresh baked goods, egg rolls (which I'll review separately with a lemonade), and a list of every style of coffee in two sizes with many flavor options to satisfy most palates. I ordered a 20 oz, extra hot, french vanilla latte using whole milk and bespoke creamer. The aroma of the beans as they steamed was a delight, full and fresh, while the coffee flavor was robust on a boldness scale of 6 out of 10, complemented by the vanilla and hazelnut syrups. The owner-barista perfectly combined my brew and augments with care shown as if each cup was the best and only one she created that day. A masterpiece with every sip and swallow. Although it was late in the day, I had two knowing that I'd be setting myself up for a late night, innoculated against sleep by the potency of having the drinks. But they were that good. I was lit for 6 hours and got a bit more work done after dinner...for a change. Check out the videos and photos, and stop in on your way to work, touring on gallery night, or walking to the Pride parade next month, and experience the refreshing essentials of small, entrepreneurial ownership providing a superior product and high quality service loaded with positivity and neighborly love. I encourage you to drop in before or after a visit to Botana's and neighbor awhile with a cup or two in hand. If Cheers was a special coffee shop in Milwaukee instead of a neighborhood bar in Boston, it would be called Style Pop Cafe. The Drag Bingo event was fabulous!! Baylee Davenport was an amazing host and extremely welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and staff extremely helpful. I will definitely be back for yoga on the patio!

Bought a coffee and a bagel sandwich at the Enderis Park Farmers Market. Great sandwich and coffee from some really nice people. Nice surprise seeing them here, didn’t have to go home for coffee!

Woman owned local coffee shop. Soooo cute. Amazing owner has definitely given the place a POP!!! You can even rent small meeting rooms. And the loaded egg rolls!!!!! DAMN!!!!!

The newest addition to south side. Style Pop is a nice coffee shop with delicious lattes, food menu, lemonade and dessert. There is a patio to enjoy to listen to music, read or enjoy the lovely weather. There are two rooms you can rent for a study group or host a meeting. The staff and owner are very friendly and knowledgeable if you don't know what type of coffee you like. The ambiance is very laidback, with music playing while you sit and sip, beautiful paintings and plants to make you feel relaxed and at peace.

Amazing coffee, creative ambience, friendliest staff in Milwaukee! This might be the best iced caramel latte I have found in Milwaukee! I say that as someone who orders this drink everywhere I go. No clue what Style Pop is doing different, but I’m here for it! The vibe at Style Pop is just as good as the coffee. It’s very vibrant, there’s lots of natural light, and it genuinely feels like a creative space you want to hang out in. Even the bathrooms are a vibe! The music was upbeat, not too quiet and not too loud. This is probably the first time I have enjoyed coffee shop music so much that I took out my airpods to enjoy the ambience. What really stood out though was the staff. They’re so friendly and talkative in the best way. I’ve never ordered coffee and left with such a pleasant experience before. Feels like you've made 3 new friends by the time your order is ready. Definitely my new favorite spot!
